Scooby’s story begins in California about ten years ago, reports the Mirror. Despite himself, this canine was involved in an illegal dog fighting network from an early age.
Fortunately, he was saved from the clutches of his executioners by the police, who then entrusted him to a shelter. Unfortunately, Scooby’s profile was so particular that no one wanted to adopt him. The mixed-breed dog was at risk of being euthanized.
But things weren’t going to get any easier for the traumatized quadruped. He walled himself for 6 long years in silence, and sowed doubt in the mind of his master. All Chris wanted was for his pooch to be “normal”, to bark and eat properly. But he had his work cut out for him…
The dedicated master says that he began, several times, to imitate the cry of the dog and the wolf to encourage his animal to do the same.
But he will have to wait almost 6 years to hear his canine emit so-called “normal” noises. The day Scooby started yawning, squealing and wagging his tail, Chris knew he had won.
This dog, who carried all the misery of the world in his eyes, became more and more open and inclined to exchanges. Over time, his posture exudes more and more serenity.
