A teenager got accepted into more than 50 universities, she receives a $1.3 million scholarship

In the United States, a high school student has been accepted into more than 50 universities. But that’s not all ! The 18-year-old high school student has received more than $1.3 million in scholarships.

Recently, 18-year-old American high school student Daya Brown’s wish came true when she was accepted to more than 50 colleges she had applied to.

The girl also got more than $1.3 million in scholarships. A real victory for this final year student who did not want to take out a student loan.

At first, the one who studies at Westlake High School in Atlanta (Georgia) drew up a list of universities offering courses in the professions of mass communication and cinema. Once that stage was complete, Daya Brown signed up for extracurricular activities to showcase her “student resume.” She chose poetry, writing and film production.

“ It was an opportunity to show who I was as a person and as a student ,” explained the principal concerned to Good Morning America. And the least we can say is that his strategy has paid off since it has been accepted everywhere!

Among the many choices available to her, Daya Brown opted for Duke University, a prestigious and very selective institution located in North Carolina.

According to her, she could not have achieved her goals without the unwavering support of her family. Today, the girl plans to become a journalist.

In her interview with the American media, she recommends that students who begin the process of enrolling in university set goals while having fun: “No , it was not easy. Yes, you have to stay awake many nights to study and get good grades, but this work is not a burden if it is your passion ,” she said.
