The mother went to the toilet to breastfeed the baby and while doing so her husband received a letter from the waitress…continued below.

Jackie Johnson-Smith was at a pizzeria in Iowa for family dinner when she encountered unexpected kindness.

Posting a receipt for the dinner bill on Facebook, she wrote: “I have breastfed three children… I have breastfed them in countless places, both pleasant and unpleasant, discreetly and openly. I’ve gotten a lot of looks and stares but tonight every negativity I’ve ever received was erased. I ate at Fongs for the first time this evening. Since my baby was restless, I breastfed him in the seat for a while and finally got up early so as not to disturb the restaurant.”

“The waitress gave this receipt to my husband. I was speechless and touched. Even though I don’t need any recognition for feeding my child, it really felt incredible. “It’s amazing how we women can make each other feel when we empower each other,” the post ended.

According to KCCI 8 News in Des Moines, the note was written by waitress Bodi Kinney, who told the station, “We need to come together and support each other when it comes to breastfeeding our children.”
