Unfortunately, this sad story would only get worse from there. Christine said she planned to divorce in early May due to “irreconcilable differences.” They were married for 18 years. Someone who works for Costner issued a statement saying, “It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have arisen that have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a marriage annulment action.” “We ask that the privacy of him, Christine and their children be respected during this difficult time.”
After Baumgartner’s proposal, she and Costner got into a heated argument. According to a prenuptial agreement, Baumgartner had to leave the family home and Costner had to pay $63,209 a month in child support for the couple’s three children. Kevin and Christine are probably both happy that 2023 is over. Still, it wasn’t all bad news when it came to love – at least if rumors from some news sites are to be believed. According to TMZ, Costner began dating US singer Jewel late last year. One person said: “There was definitely something going on. They were flirtatious, and when they were together it was like they were both on fire.” “You could tell they were trying to be discreet, but anyone who saw them could tell something was going on,” another person said. As is fitting, Costner’s ex-wife is now the subject of similar rumors.

A few months after the final separation from Kevin, Baumgartner was seen again with the famous financier Josh Connor. The two live in Santa Barbara.
