Florida woman gives birth to rare set of identical twins with Down syndrome – Look How Cute They Are.

The birth of twins is a relatively rare phenomenon, with around 33 out of 1,000 births resulting in twins. Additionally, identical twins are even rarer, occurring in only three to four out of 1,000 births. When 23-year-old Savannah Combs found out she was pregnant with twins, she was ecstatic. However, she soon learned that her twin daughters would be born with Down syndrome, a condition that raised concerns among some people who might judge her and her babies based on their condition. Despite this, Savannah believes her daughters, Kennadi Rue and Mckenli Ackerman, are incredibly precious. Savannah shared her pregnancy journey with her girls on TikTok, where they quickly gained popularity. In one of her videos, Savannah explained that she was advised to abort her babies because they wouldn’t survive, but decided to give them a fighting chance.

Savannah’s husband was at training camp when she learned that both of her twins had Down syndrome. She was 29 weeks pregnant when she was admitted to hospital and delivered her daughters. The twins were born on May 12, 2021, two months early, so they had to spend several weeks in the NICU before coming home. “They’re called mono di twins, which means they had their own bags, but they shared the same placenta, which meant they were going to be identical,” she said. “Mo di twins the way they are, it’s very rare. And then, on top of that, we add Down syndrome, it’s like one person in two million. » Despite their rare disease, Savannah believes her daughters are like any other child. “They have feelings. Their hearts are beating. They know how to speak.

They know how to do the things you do. They will get there,” she said. “As I said, it may be a step backwards but they will do it. I learned that these children are courageous and happy little things. As each child continues to reach their goals, Savannah shares her adorable updates on TikTok. Savannah faced criticism from insensitive people on social media who judged her and her family. However, she responds with grace, declaring that her daughters are the most precious and loving people in the world, and that God knew what He was doing in giving these babies to the good parents who would love them regardless. Kennadi Rue and Mckenli Ackerman are beautiful girls and Savannah thinks they will accomplish anything they want. She hopes to teach her daughters that they are just like anyone else and that they can achieve anything they want if they put their mind to it. It’s a heartwarming story worth sharing with others.
