Although the world persists in seeing the differences that exist between men and animals, giving the first a position of superiority, a beautiful scene which took place in a zoo shows us that before the call of love we are all equal.
A mother gorilla and her little baby had the most beautiful encounter with a young couple who were visiting the zoo with their little one-month-old baby.
The event took place a week ago at the FranklinPark Zoo in Boston (United States), when husband and wife Emmelina Austin and Michael Austin decided to spend another afternoon with their little baby named Canyon.
Everything was going normally, amidst the laughter of the loving parents, but when they reached the gorilla area, something completely caught the attention of Emmelina and Michael.
It seems that Kiki got along perfectly with Emmelina and fell in love with little Canyon. But on top of that, like any proud mother, the mother decided to flaunt her son.
The little gorilla named Pablo was also there and was shown by Kiki with the same love with which Emmelina showed her baby.
The moment was quite special for everyone. The encounter felt like a reunion in the park between two friends who hadn’t seen each other in a long time and, as expected, Michael was also impressed by Kiki’s reaction and intelligence.
“My wife mentioned that she felt like she could understand their bond and see how much she cared for Pablo, since she is now a mother.
My wife came to get our son to show him to Kiki, who was on the other side of the compound…
Then Kiki grabbed Pablo and put him on her leg to take him to Emmelina,” Michael said.
Despite the language barriers, the two mothers managed to connect and perfectly enjoy the moment.
Once the families were face to face, Emmelina and Kiki found themselves contemplative in their roles as mothers, while gesturing with their hands.
In one way or another, the gorilla communicated and made the woman feel the emotion of this beautiful encounter.
It seems like they both established a maternal friendship and confidentiality right away. Kiki fell in love with the human baby.
Not only did Kiki enjoy the conversation, but little Pablo was also excited to meet his human friends.
This is not the first time that an animal of this species has been carried away by its feelings of motherhood, as in the past we have seen how an orangutan became emotional in front of a pregnant woman.
