Madonna taken under intensive care after being found unconscious at her home

This Saturday, June 24, singer Madonna was hospitalized in intensive care after being found unconscious at her home. Her “Madonna: The Celebration Tour” world tour has been postponed.

The news has fans of the American pop megastar worried. Singer Madonna , 64, has been admitted to intensive care after being found unconscious at her home, Sky News TV channel reports. For his part, the artist’s manager, Guy Osear, revealed that the interpreter of “Like a Prayer” has developed a bacterial infection:

“ On Saturday June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which led to her being in intensive care for several days. Her condition is improving, but she is still under medical supervision. A full recovery is expected ,” the manager shared on his Instagram page.

Along with this worrying news comes more bad news. Indeed, the diva, who won her first Grammy Award for best music video for “Blond Ambition World Tour Live” in 1991, was forced to postpone her tour “Madonna: The Celebration Tour”.

“ For now, we have to suspend all our commitments, including the tour. We will give you more details as soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and rescheduled concerts ,” Guy Osear said on the social network.

Scheduled for 2023 and 2024, “Madonna: The Celebration Tour” was to start on July 16 in Vancouver (Canada) and end in January in Mexico City. The singer with millions of singles sold was also due to perform in France, on the stage of the Accor Arena , on November 12, 13, 19 and 20.
