The “unexpected” performance of an 88-year-old exotic dancer recently thrilled the judges and audience of America’s Got Talent during an audition. Penny claimed to be America’s oldest burlesque dancer and could be considered a national treasure.
Penny Starr Sr. is from Palm Bay, Florida. She had come to the AGT stage wearing red, white and blue feathers.
When Simon asked if she was single, Penny replied that she was a widow and had 6 husbands. The media mogul asked the candidate if she would consider getting married for the seventh time. She said: “Yes, but it takes a while to break them in.”
Penny began her performance to the tune “You’re a Grand Old Flag”. The 4 judges were delighted when the elderly lady decided to undress one by one. Host Terry Crews threw red, white and blue confetti all over the stage to celebrate the performance.

Simon was the one most impressed with the sassy senior dancer, and he flirted with her. But then he asked Penny a bold question that would decide her AGT fate. The media mogul asked the contestant, “If you were to go ahead, would more clothes come off? To which the energetic senior replied that she absolutely would.
That’s when Judge Howie Mandel shouted, “I want to see more!” Penny got her 4 yeses.
