“I am ashamed of these men”: Adeline Toniutti (Dancing with the Stars) in tears after her dance on domestic violence, Jean-Marc Généreux gives her a poignant speech

This Friday March 8 in Dancing with the Stars, Adeline Toniutti shocked all the spectators with her contemporary inspired by the domestic violence she suffered. Jean-Marc Généreux couldn’t help but react. On Friday February 16, the show Dancing with the Stars 2024 began to be broadcast on TF1. For this new edition, production has decided to go back to basics with the return of signs for the members of the jury. Jean-Marc Généreux made his return to the program, just like Fauve Hautot who found his seat after winning the previous season with Billy Crawford, Chris Marques is still there, and Mel Charlot took his first steps alongside them. As for the casting, viewers can find Diane Leyre (Miss France 2022), the stylist Cristina Cordula, the drag queen Keiona, the singers Natasha St-Pier, Coeur de pirate and Adeline Toniutti, the singer Black M, the comedians Roman Doduik and Inès Reg, the influencer Nico Capone, the buyer Caroline Margeridon and James Denton, the interpreter of Mike Delfino (Desperate Housewives).

Cristina Cordula opened the ball by paying tribute to her deceased brother. Inès Reg brought joy to the set with a Bollywood. Then, Adeline Toniutti unveiled a contemporary on Camille Lellouche’s song, N’insiste pas, a title which speaks with great emotion about domestic violence. On several occasions, the Star Academy professor has spoken about the hell her ex put her through. “My ex-partner hit me. It’s going to be hard to dance to that,” she confided during rehearsals. Destabilized by this particular context, her dancer wanted to reassure her. “I have full confidence in your success. Don’t worry, I am your ally,” declared Adrien Caby. During her time on the floor, Adeline Toniutti was impressive, but once the music finished, all the pressure went down and the tears flowed. She was not the only one moved, since several candidates, dancers and members of the jury were also upset. Jean-Marc Généreux reacts to his performance: “Sometimes, I am ashamed of these men who hide out of sight to do their thing” Before giving his rating, Jean-Marc Généreux wanted to have a few words. “These are moments that speak to a lot of people, not just in France, but all over the planet,” he began, before stopping because he was so affected. “Sometimes, I’m ashamed of these men who hide out of sight to do their thing. Tonight, we can’t hide, it was in the light, it was THERE.

And there, we denounced something something very strong. It’s courageous to have done what you did, to have experienced what you experienced and to have your own fight. I hope that you will inspire lots of women to do it and lots of people around them to denounce.” For her part, Adeline Toniutti didn’t think she could do it: “I told myself that it would be too much for me, I had a very difficult time this week (…) If I put my private life on a track of dancing is to save women. If I only save one woman, my pain was worth enduring.” Finally, Adeline Toniutti obtained 29 points this evening and has 54 points in total. And as if the emotion was not enough, his parents, Bertrand and Dominique, went to the set, not without emotion. His mother was upset and very proud. The singing teacher had difficulty realizing what was happening. “He threatened to kill my parents”: moved to tears, Adeline Toniutti makes new chilling revelations about her past
