The baby in the photograph is called Abby. Almost immediately after he was born, doctors gave him a complex form of leukemia. The girl spent almost all 4 years of her life within the walls of the hospital, where she desperately fought for her life.
Even such a serious diagnosis could not break the girl’s optimism, so she constantly smiles and hopes for the best. Back at the hospital for treatment, she met a nurse named Matt Hayling.
They got along very well and saw each other almost every day. Abby once mentioned that she would like to marry Matt.
