She cried in pain and cold

Linda was lying in the snow not far from the shelter. The dog was crying and whining, perhaps from the cold, and perhaps from pain. We do not know how Linda ended up at the shelter, perhaps she came herself, or maybe someone left her here.

We assumed that the dog was whining from cold or hunger, perhaps it had been hit by a car and was in pain. After the animal warmed up and ate, we immediately took him to the clinic.

At the reception, Linda was calm, she not only endured all the manipulations, but even tried to caress the people who were around. At the same time, it was obvious that something was bothering her.

When the results of the X-ray came back, the doctors saw a broken humerus. The injury was old, it hurt, only surgery could solve the problem. The doctors explained that the only way to stop the constant pain is to completely immobilize the joint during the operation.

The intervention was carried out immediately, because the delay meant new pain for Linda.

The dog spent several days in the clinic, and then went to rehabilitation.

Linda walks without stepping on her injured paw, but this should change over time.

For rehabilitation, the dog could be left in the clinic, but we cannot pay for her stay there.
