Although Kate and David Ogg valued their relationship, the couple did not have children to be completely happy. Kate tried to get pregnant for a very long time, and three years after the wedding, the doctor finally told her the great news – she was having twins! Future parents were in seventh heaven with happiness. They began to prepare for the birth of babies: they decorated the nursery, bought playpens and lots of toys. For Kate and David, a premature birth in the sixth month of pregnancy was a bitter blow… The woman had major problems with the birth. This day was a real test for her and the twins.
Kate remembers that after the birth, a doctor came up to her and her husband and asked if they had thought of a name for their son yet. They replied that they called the boy Jamie. Then the doctor looked at them with sadness in his eyes and whispered, “Sorry guys, but we lost Jamie…”. When David heard this, he slowly sat down on the bed. Kate asked for permission to hold her son to say goodbye. The boy was very cold. The woman asked her husband to lie down next to him to warm Jamie with her warmth. She put the little body on her chest and began to tell the child how much she and dad were waiting for him and what a wonderful sister he had.
They told their son that his uncles and aunts, grandfathers and grandmothers were waiting for him at home. They talked to him and cried. And then, to everyone’s surprise, Jamie breathed in, breathed out, breathed in again, opened his eyes and took David’s finger in his tiny hand, which was little more than a fingernail. Jamie is alive! The doctors didn’t know what to say. They did not find a single medical explanation for this miracle – there is no other way to say it.
Two years later there was an addition to the family – a brother was born to the twins. Jamie grows up as a happy, healthy child and never stops pleasing his parents.
