When little Tessa, originally from Ireland, was born, she attracted the attention of many people. To wit, this sweet baby was born without a nose. The anomaly was detected while Tessa’s mother was pregnant and the couple was advised to terminate the pregnancy, but neither her mother nor her father wanted to do something like that.
Since the baby was developing in the womb, they believed there was a chance that she could also have a normal life after birth. Tessa’s parents were more than willing to care for a special child. Tessa is now four years old. Over the years, she has undergone numerous surgeries intended to help her live a normal life, as much as possible.
Unfortunately, not having a nose isn’t the only challenge this girl faces. She is also deaf and recently became blind in one eye as a result of surgery she underwent. However, despite all of these challenges, Tessa is a happy child.
